Now, the internet is complete.

Why does the world need another blog?, you may ask. Well, it has come to our attention that there is currently no blog chronicling what we eat for dinner. It is high time to remedy this glaring omission.

As our first post, we'd like to share with you some failed potential titles for this blog:

"New Fork, New Fork" (as it turns out, there is a blog out there called "New York, New Fork.")
"Hello, dal-ly" (too limiting)
"Traditional Mealage: Defending the sanctity of dinner" (mealage sounds unappetizing)
"Om nom nom" (Giselle said no blog titles based on lolcats)
"Guys and dals" (sadly, this would only have worked if we were males)
"The dal house" (why this dal fixation?)

The actual title is, of course, based on Frances Moore Lappe's "Diet for a Small Planet," a crunchy vegetarian classic cookbook that we actually haven't used very much but do have on our shelf.

And yes, our apartment is that small.
